Quality Assurance Analyst, Senior

Position Summary:

Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing HCM organization. Infor Human Capital Management (HCM) is the strategic approach to recruiting, developing, managing, and optimizing an organization’s workforce to achieve business objectives. HCM encompasses processes such as talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, compensation, and employee retention, supporting both operational needs and long-term organizational growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.8+ years of professional experience in testing and QA

2.Structured test planning and execution including ability to turn requirements into good test cases

3.Strong knowledge of Coding and SQL

4.Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

5.Understanding of web applications and multi-tiered product architectures

6.Flexible to work across different time zones

7.Experience in Analytics background would be a plus. Birst, PowerBI, Tableau

8.HR Talent, Workforce Management or HCM application experience would be a plus

Key Responsibilities:

1.Actively participate in planning, preparing and executing effective test efforts

2.Effectively use test tools, defect tracking tools and other test support tools and identify and implement process improvements where applicable

3.Prioritize testing tasks based on goals and risks of projects and ensure testing milestones, activities and tasks are completed as scheduled

4.Report the status of test planning, defects and execution activities, including regular status updated to the project team using quality metrics

5.Work as part of a dynamic team in an Agile environment

6.Ensure traceability between product requirements, delivered code and test case verification

7.Maintain and extend test coverage along with designing test cases from user stories, creating appropriate tools, utilities, and automation scripts that assist in functional testing and to create test data

8.Share best practices and improve processes within and across product team

9.Become subject matter expert in respective modules, maintain expert functional and technical product knowledge

10.Participate in planning and/or creation of test automation
