Essential Responsibility:
- This position is responsible for resolving customer complaints in a 1imcly and effective manner, establishing and maintaining analysis of
quality records, assuring that NAMI products meet industry standards and customer requirements, providing direct communication with clients
regarding product quality and ensuring continuous improvement investigation for process manufacturing.
List of Key Tasks/ Primary Responsibilities:
- Able to understand product inspection/validation concepts
- Able to understand statistical data analysis, SPC & process capability (Cpk/Ppk) concepts
- Lead new program launches; coordinate with engineering team to perform APQP activities
- Able to develop advanced quality documents including FMEA, control plan, capability study and lead the PPAP development &
documentation for each customer
- Handle customer complaints, investigate on the root causes, and propose corrective actions & improvement plans by gathering/leading a
cross functional team
- Proficient in 5-why analysis & 8D reporting
- Handle any suspect non-conforming material in the plant & perform disposition
- Able to review engineering drawings or specifications to ascertain procedures, process standards, process capability, and test requirements
~ Able to understand basic GD&T concepts and interpret them in the inspection process
- Previous experience with Six Sigma and lean tools is beneficial
- Ability to handle various suppliers, issue complaints, drive improvement actions & review/approve their 8D reports
- Review product quality data on a regular basis & provide feedback to manufacturing/PE teams for improving the process capability
- Ability to analyze contracts, purchase orders, invoices, quotes, engineering drawings etc.
- IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 knowledge is desired. Able to perform internal audits for both quality & environmental standards & also supplier
audits on a regular basis
- Handle external non-conformances from the TS/ISO audits & provide corrective actions
- Be a part of(or) lead kaizen team, provide continuous improvement solutions & present kaizen progress to the management on a regular
basis
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial or Mechanical or Production) is required. Master's degree is desirable.
- 0-2 years engineering experience in a manufacturing quality (or) automotive environment is desirable

- Keeps Management Informed by participating in meetings; and by reporting problems to Management verbally or in writing in order to avoid
confusion and further problems.
- Performs General Administrative Duties by writing and distributing reports and other correspondence; by distributing mail and faxes when
necessary; by accurately filing and maintaining documents; by making copies; and by performing other administrative duties as needed.
Additional Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Quality engineering job is VCI)' dynamic and the daily functions will be highly changing based on the external/internal
requirements.
- Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize&. complete on time
- Work with engineering/sales/R&O/pro101ype team on new project quotations, process costing calculations,
and Knowledge: design/development or the products & production quality control
