Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced *Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer* to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our applications, platforms, and security solutions meet the highest quality standards through *manual and automated testing*, while collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.

*Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute *manual and automated test cases* for web, mobile, and cloud-based applications.

* Perform *functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

* Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like *JIRA, Trello, or Azure DevOps*.

* Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure requirements are testable and well-defined.

* Maintain and enhance *test automation frameworks* (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).

* Ensure *cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility testing.

* Perform *API testing* using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.

* Validate *security, scalability, and performance* aspects of applications.

* Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and Agile ceremonies.

* Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement in quality standards.

*Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

* *2–4 years of proven experience* as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.

* Strong knowledge of *software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

* Hands-on experience with *test automation tools* (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, etc.).

* Good understanding of *manual testing techniques.

* Experience with *API testing* (Postman, RestAssured, Swagger).

* Familiarity with *CI/CD pipelines* and test automation integration.

* Proficiency in *bug tracking and project management tools* (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Trello).

* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

* Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.

*Preferred Skills :

* Experience with *performance/load testing tools (JMeter, Locust, Gatling).

* Knowledge of *security testing practices.

* Familiarity with *cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).

* Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs35,000.00 per month
