Job Description: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through manual and/or automated testing, identifying bugs, and working closely with development teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Conduct UI/UX testing, ensuring user-friendly and consistent behavior.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Support the development and maintenance of test automation scripts (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc., if applicable).
• Provide clear and detailed testing reports and metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual or automation).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, QTest, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of web and mobile application testing.
• Experience with SQL for basic database validation.
• Familiarity with API testing.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
