QA Engineer – eCommerce
12 Month Rolling Contract
Location: Atlanta, GA
We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to support our growing eCommerce platform within a leading distribution organization. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of high-traffic digital commerce applications that support nationwide operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong, and comfortable guiding QA best practices in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead quality assurance efforts for eCommerce applications, including web, APIs, and backend services

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Selenium (or similar tools)

Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across complex workflows (orders, pricing, inventory, fulfillment, etc.)

Partner closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to embed quality throughout the SDLC

Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios and risks early

Execute and oversee manual testing when automation coverage is not feasible

Analyze defects, document findings clearly, and drive resolution through collaboration

Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests and monitoring test results

Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices across the team
Required Qualifications

6+ years of QA experience, with experience in a lead or senior QA role

Strong experience with test automation, particularly Selenium (Java, Python, or similar)

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management

Experience testing eCommerce platforms or complex transactional systems

Hands-on experience testing REST APIs (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)

Strong SQL skills for validating backend data

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
