Quality Assurance Engineer (SQL, Biotechnology & Healthcare Systems)

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team and collaborate with our partner - a biotechnology company operating certified clinical laboratories and developing innovative data-driven solutions. The role is focused on manual testing with SQL to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of laboratory systems used in biotechnology and healthcare projects.

Responsibilities:

• Review and understand requirements for new features or change requests, including related database updates
• Support developers by debugging and explaining correct workflows when needed
• Execute manual testing based on requirements and additional scenarios
• Write and run SQL queries to create or retrieve test data
• Create and maintain test case documentation for assigned tasks
• Provide demos of new features on group calls when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Quality Assurance or a similar field
• Working knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and concepts
• Strong experience with SQL for creating and understanding queries
• Understanding of back-end technologies; exposure to back-end development is a plus
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Asana
• Strong attention to detail, data analysis, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus

Working Conditions:

• Freelance contract, fully remote
• Monday to Friday schedule, with online availability from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST
• Monthly payments via Payoneer, PayPal, or crypto
• Days off and vacations upon prior approval

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹704.00 - ₹880.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
