Quality Assurance Inspector

Summary/Objective

The Quality Inspector is responsible for verifying that machined, fabricated, and repaired parts meet engineering, customer, and ISO/AS9100 quality requirements. This role supports Anthony Machine’s objectives of delivering precision‑machined products while maintaining a disciplined, compliant Quality Management System.

Essential Functions

· Perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections

· Inspect parts to engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders

· Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, etc.)

· Document inspection results and maintain quality records

· Identify and report nonconforming product per company procedures

· Verify inspection equipment is within calibration status

· Support audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities

Physical Demands

· Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, push, pull, sit and stand for 8 or more hours a day.

· Must display excellent time management skills, be able to work with little or no supervision and communicate regularly.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus frequently.

· Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:30a.m. – 4:00p.m Overtime, including Saturday/Sunday may be required during peak business periods and to meet rush requirements.

Work Environment

Manufacturing and machine shop environment; standing, lifting, and use of PPE required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma or GED

· 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment

· Ability to read blueprints and GD&T

· Experience in an ISO 9001 / AS9100 environment preferred

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

· CMM experience preferred

· Calibration experience preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
