What Will Your Day Look Like?

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting monitoring and inspection activities to support the Quality Management System (QMS). The role ensures that all quality standards, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and adhered to across sites, co-manufacturers, and external warehouses.

The incumbent will play a key role in maintaining product and process quality by performing inspections, identifying deviations, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented in line with company and regulatory requirements.


How Will You Make an Impact?

Quality Check

  • Ensure all quality control procedures are strictly followed throughout every stage of production.
  • Document quality issues in detail and record corrective and preventive actions taken.
  • Develop and maintain process checklists in coordination with quality supervisors and managers.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections on incoming raw materials from vendors and outgoing finished goods.
  • Review product specifications, blueprints, and standards to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Monitor all product deliveries to customers to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Handle non-conforming materials effectively to minimize business impact and losses.

Internal Audits

  • Support supervisors and managers in conducting internal audits of processes and systems.
  • Perform regular inspections and audits of facilities and operational areas.
  • Conduct random checks of transportation units (trucks and tankers) for hygiene and safety compliance.
  • Perform root cause analysis, investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure that non-conforming raw materials do not enter production and that defective finished goods do not reach customers.

MIS & Reporting

  • Inspect raw materials and GMP compliance in satellite warehouses and on-site, including sample collection and reporting.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports covering issues identified during inspections.
  • Develop daily analysis reports, batch reports, and product release reports.
  • Review and validate batch reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct GMP inspections and maintain proper documentation and reporting.

Special Projects

  • Undertake special projects assigned by Agthia leadership as required.


Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Diploma or equivalent certification.
  • More than 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing or related production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food hygiene standards.
  • Understanding of HACCP pre-requisite programs and food safety systems.
  • Solid knowledge of food safety procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify non-conformities and support corrective actions effectively.
