ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB

Primary Function

Develop, implement and continuously improve on Coca-Cola HBC food safety system, associated programs and KPI’s for EGYPT manufacturing sites and market.

Verify adherence to Coca-Cola HBC and TCCC food safety plans.

Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements.

Working Relationships

Reports to Quality & Food Safety Manufacturing Manager - Egypt.

Interface with all levels (leadership, supervisors, operators and external crews) in communication, training and facilitating compliance.

ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enable effective execution of Food Safety policies and standards through tools, technical competency and capability building and training.
  • Acts as a link to support plant teams and provides technical guidance and interprets application of global policies to support plant-driven FS initiatives. Is a Leader of the Egypt FS Committee of Practice (CoP).
  • Collaborates with plants to
    • Resolve escalated adverse events and Food Safety issues
    • Hygiene and Sanitation program Management
    • Integrated Pest Management Program
    • Microbiology and Environmental Monitoring Program
    • Utilities and Water control Program
    • Enable consumer complaint reduction initiatives
    • Verify Food Safety plan, Allergen, environmental monitoring and annual validations.
    • Utilize root cause analysis and problem-solving tools to identify corrective and preventive actions for gaps identified through internal and external audits and self-assessments against CCH and KORE standards.
  • Oversight of any projects that may impact food safety (innovation, engineering design, new equipment).
  • Food safety governance process and escalation to Egypt BU function.
  • Develops and implements all food safety training for all employees.
  • Provide technical guidance and on-site plant support as needed for product innovations, cost innovations & network changes.
  • Management of the plant performance against key Food Safety KPIs. These include consumer complaints, sanitation, audit actions and phase progression as per plan.

ARE THSES YOUR SECERET INGRIDENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, food technology, Food Safety, chemistry/microbiology or equivalent.
  • 7+ years’ experience Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and food safety in food and beverage manufacturing.
  • Certified Six Sigma green/lean manufacturing green belt.
  • Strong background in beverage manufacturing (water, juices, dairy, and carbonated soft drinks).
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across different plants.
  • Driving a culture of quality and food safety ownership.
  • Data-driven decision-making.
  • Expertise in risk assessment (HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, allergen, environmental monitoring).
  • Experience with QA systems (SAP QM, Microsoft 365, Power BI, eQMS)
