Quality Assurance Manager

Role summary
The QA Manager ensures product safety, regulatory and customer compliance, audit success, and continuous improvement across production and packaging.

Key responsibilities
- Manage HACCP, food safety plans, environmental monitoring, and finished product testing
- Maintain SQF or equivalent certification readiness, lead customer and regulatory audits
- Direct QA and QC teams, training, SOPs, and documentation accuracy
- Investigate deviations, run root cause, implement CAPA, and verify effectiveness
- Partner with Operations and R&D to reduce defects and improve process capability
- Track KPIs such as first pass quality, holds, customer complaints, and audit findings

Requirements
- 5 or more years of quality leadership in food or pet food manufacturing
- HACCP certified, strong FDA or USDA and GFSI experience
- SQF Practitioner or equivalent is preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and coaching skills

Base Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
