Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading and continuously improving the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and international standards. The role oversees quality assurance processes, manages audits and compliance activities, and drives continuous improvement initiatives across operations while fostering a strong quality culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, and GHP standards.

Act as the Food Safety Team Leader, ensuring effective hazard analysis, risk assessment, and control measures.

Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities, customer standards, and internal food safety policies.

Oversee quality assurance processes for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.

Lead investigations related to deviations, non-conformities, and customer complaints, ensuring proper root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Manage internal and external audits, including certification bodies, customers, and regulatory authorities.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve process capability, and minimize the cost of poor quality.

Lead, coach, and develop the QA team while promoting a strong food safety and quality culture across the organization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial, to ensure quality standards are embedded in processes and product development.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related field.

Postgraduate studies or relevant certifications are considered a strong advantage.

8–12+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within food manufacturing or FMCG, including at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership.

Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001)

Expertise in HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.

Experience with root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and FMEA.

Audit management and regulatory compliance experience.

Continuous improvement and risk management practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality management systems.

Fluency in English (written and spoken).
