Quality Assurance Manager – Summary

The Quality Assurance Manager leads and maintains the ISO/IEC 17025 and 21 CFR (Parts 11, 210, 211, 610, 820) quality systems, ensuring continuous compliance across IT, Facilities, and laboratory operations. This role oversees data integrity, equipment qualification, and all regulatory registrations and certifications.


The QAM manages the Qualtrax Document Management System, approves quality documentation, and co‑approves major system changes. They direct internal audits, oversee non‑conformances, lead root cause investigations, and manage proficiency testing to support accreditation. The position also serves as the primary quality representative during customer, regulatory, and accreditation audits.

Additional responsibilities include leading quality control improvements, conducting management reviews, and ensuring staff understanding of quality requirements through communication and training.



Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance experience


Preferred

  • Experience in ISO/IEC 17025, cGMP, and FDA‑regulated environments
  • Experience with pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing/testing
