Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer – Interior Design & Fit-Out

About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced QA/QC Engineer to safeguard the design integrity, craftsmanship, and brand consistency of our interior fit-out and renovation projects. In this role, you will be the guardian of quality ensuring that every finish, fixture, and detail meets exacting international standards while reflecting our brand's identity across every space we deliver.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive site inspections and audits throughout all phases of renovation, fit-out, and installation, documenting defects and non-conformities with precision.
• Lead detailed FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) audits, scrutinizing custom millwork, lighting installations, upholstery, and finishes for any deviation from specification.
• Monitor the installation of sound-absorptive materials and layered lighting schemes to ensure the intended ambience is delivered without technical compromise.
• Review shop drawings, design deliverables, and 2D/3D visualizations for accuracy, consistency, and compliance prior to final submission.
• Verify that all interior elements , colors, textures, signage, and finishes align flawlessly with global brand guidelines.
• Ensure materials, lighting, and furniture comply with building regulations, safety codes, and project specifications.
• Test and approve materials for "intensive use" standards, ensuring durability against wear, staining, and frequent industrial cleaning.
• Confirm that furniture, fabrics, and wall coverings meet international fire resistance standards and local health regulations.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and documentation aligned with international and company-specific benchmarks.
• Lead root cause analysis on defects and drive contractors to implement effective corrective actions.
• Partner closely with project managers, designers, and contractors to resolve quality issues swiftly and constructively.

Key Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in Interior Design & Fit-Out, with a minimum of 2–3 years in a dedicated QA/QC role.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Interior Design , Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office.
• Deep knowledge of international quality standards, fire safety regulations, and FF&E specifications.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
