Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Lab Technician to join our team in Rockingham, NC. This position focuses on the quality control of inks and pigment products. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining batch consistency and ensuring our inks and coatings meet strict quality specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate quality checks and testing on production batches
• Conduct batch analysis and complete detailed reporting of test procedures
• Maintain and validate testing methods to ensure product specifications are met
• Document procedures in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Investigate product and process deviations and develop corrective and preventative action plans
• Follow QC testing requirements and established procedures
• Perform daily end-of-shift lab cleanup and maintain organized work areas

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (Required)
• Experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) preferred
• Ability to learn new laboratory techniques and processes quickly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to understand detailed verbal and written instructions
• Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and climb stairs
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs routinely and handle equipment over 50 lbs
• Willingness to work in extreme temperatures and dusty/industrial environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
