Job Summary
Goldwind is seeking an experienced
Quality Assurance Supervisor – Wind Turbine Operation & Maintenance (O&M)
to lead and govern quality systems related to
turbine operation, preventive and corrective maintenance, performance reliability, and service excellence
.
This role is responsible for ensuring that all O&M activities comply with
Goldwind standards, client contracts, safety requirements, and international quality systems
, while driving continuous improvement in turbine availability, reliability, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
O&M Quality Governance
-
Develop, implement, and maintain the
Quality Management System (QMS)
for wind turbine
O&M activities
, in alignment with
ISO 9001
and Goldwind internal standards.

Define and monitor quality KPIs related to
turbine availability, downtime, repeat failures, and service response time
.
-
Ensure consistency and standardization of O&M quality practices across sites.
Maintenance Quality Control
-
Oversee quality assurance for
preventive, corrective, and major maintenance
activities on wind turbines.
-
Ensure proper execution and documentation of maintenance procedures, work instructions, and service bulletins.
-
Review maintenance records, CMMS data, and service reports to verify compliance and effectiveness.
Failure Analysis & Risk Management
-
Lead
root cause analysis (RCA)
for turbine failures, recurring faults, and underperformance issues.
-
Manage
non-conformance reports (NCRs)
, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and follow-up closure.
-
Proactively identify quality risks that may impact turbine performance, safety, or contractual commitments.
Audit & Compliance
-
Conduct
internal O&M quality audits
and support
client or third-party audits
related to turbine service quality.

Ensure compliance with
service contracts, SLAs, warranty requirements, and regulatory obligations
.
-
Maintain readiness for audits and inspections at all O&M sites.
Stakeholder & Client Interface
-
Act as the primary quality focal point for
clients, asset owners, and internal technical teams
regarding O&M quality matters.

Support resolution of quality-related disputes and contribute to client satisfaction and retention.
-
Coordinate with HQ and regional teams on O&M quality standards and improvements.
Team Leadership & Capability Development
-
Lead, coach, and develop
QA/QC engineers and O&M quality coordinators
.

Ensure technicians and supervisors receive adequate quality-related training and awareness.
-
Conduct performance evaluations and promote a strong quality culture across O&M teams.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on
failure trends, audit results, and field feedback
.

Prepare and present regular
quality performance, risk, and improvement reports
to management.
-
Support digital quality tools and standardized reporting for turbine O&M operations.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering
, or equivalent.
-
3+ years of experience
in
wind turbine O&M
, service operations, or technical quality roles.
-
Minimum
3–5 years in a QA Manager or senior quality leadership role
.
-
Strong understanding of
wind turbine systems
, failure modes, and maintenance processes.
-
Proven experience with
ISO 9001
, audits, RCA, NCR, and CAPA management.
-
Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong leadership skills.
-
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
