Quality Assurance Technician

The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician will ensure our company and customers remain compliant with industry regulations. You will be tasked with improving and maintaining data, completing measurements, and communicating standards. You will be responsible for ensuring product specifications are met and enforcing company Standard Operating Policies on the Food Productions floor. Providing status and results throughout the facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.

· Conducts GMP and Operational inspection checks on goods and production processes.

· Ensures employees adhere to safety and quality standards. Ensure all staff within the facility follow cGMP requirements

· Calibrating and cleaning testing equipment. Review of daily HACCP , and Sanitation documentation.

· Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.

· Participate in product testing.

· Ensures daily facility compliance with USDA, Food Safety and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.

· Perform other duties as Instructed by FSQA Management and or Management

· Escalate any issues to Production Team Management and FSQA Management.

Education and Experience:

· Two to five years of experience in related field required

• Experience enforcing SOP, SSOP, HACCP and product specifications

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of standing and walking

· Working in a cold environment

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

· Must be able to rotate early morning Preoperational inspections with the QA Team

· Punctuality is a must

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 43 per week
