Quality Checker

Role Summary

This role is for the production unit where garments are manufactured. The Quality Checker will be responsible for checking stitching, finishing, embroidery detailing, measurements, and overall garment quality before pieces move to final dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect stitching, cutting, and overall finishing of each garment
• Check embroidery / handwork quality (zardozi, sequence, resham, beads, etc.)
• Verify measurements & fitting as per design specs / measurement sheet
• Ensure fabric quality, fall, and overall structure meets brand standards
• Identify and flag defects (loose threads, stains, uneven work, wrong sizing, color variations)
• Coordinate corrections with karigars / tailors / embroiders
• Approve garments for final packing and dispatch
• Maintain QC log / checklist for every piece

Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)

• Strong knowledge of ethnic & bridal garment construction
• High attention to detail — nothing should pass with errors
• Ability to communicate assertively and get corrections done
• Understanding of measurements, fall & silhouette
• Ability to handle multiple orders under time pressure

Not Suitable For

• Candidates with only boutique-helper or basic sales floor background
• People who can identify mistakes but cannot get them corrected
• Candidates without hands-on garment handling experience

We need a strong QC decision-maker, not a passive observer.

Pay: ₹11,633.62 - ₹28,865.38 per month
