SUMMARY OVERVIEW
The Quality Control Auditor is responsible for conducting routine and random audits across airport service departments to ensure compliance with PrimeFlight operational standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements. This role evaluates processes, equipment, and employee performance; identifies risks and non-conformities; and partners with operational and quality leadership to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement. The Quality Control Auditor plays a critical role in supporting safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery across airport operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct routine and random inspections across airport service departments to evaluate operational procedures, equipment, and staff performance
- Verify compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and company standards
- Identify non-conformities, operational gaps, and potential risks within service delivery
- Document audit findings accurately and maintain detailed audit records and supporting documentation
- Report inspection results to management and relevant departments, highlighting areas of non-compliance and risk
- Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to enhance service quality and compliance
- Monitor and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions to ensure sustained compliance
- Perform process, system, and operational audits to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency
- Review and analyze customer feedback to identify quality trends and improvement opportunities
- Ensure staff adherence to quality standards and provide feedback as needed
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance leadership to align audit activities with organizational quality objectives
- Assist in the development, refinement, and implementation of quality control procedures and standards
- Participate in and support quality training initiatives and continuous improvement programs
- Conduct training sessions for staff on quality control practices, when assigned
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections or assessments
- Implement risk assessment and risk management strategies to minimize service quality issues
- Assess the quality and condition of materials, tools, and equipment used in operations
- Stay current on aviation industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to quality control
- Prepare and present audit reports and summaries to senior leadership, as required
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, including written documentation
- Must have reliable transportation
- Demonstrated problem-solving, customer service, interpersonal, and oral communication skills
- Ability to apply logic and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
