Quality Control Chemist

🔬 Key Responsibilities

• Report major operational, quality, or HSE issues promptly and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop internal standards to monitor analytical trends and ensure data accuracy.
• Verify and record instrument calibration results and schedule regular calibration and maintenance.
• Prepare and manage controlled copies of product specifications (digital and hard copy) to support QC operations.
• Perform analytical testing and calibration in line with best practices and industry standards.
• Support laboratory accreditation processes and coordinate with third-party testing partners.
• Conduct tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products as per specifications.
• Provide technical assistance to the production team and participate in problem-solving initiatives.
• Handle customer quality complaints by conducting investigations and presenting results to management.
• Prepare weekly QC reports and highlight deviations or trends for review.
• Maintain accurate records for all testing activities and ensure sample traceability.
• Manage lab inventory, consumables, and PPE to ensure smooth operations.
• Support internal and external audits through proper documentation and compliance.
• Foster a safe, compliant, and efficient lab environment by adhering to HSE standards.
