Quality Control Driver – Pick & Drop

About role:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer – Pick & Drop to ensure that all vehicles serviced or repaired meet required safety, quality, and service standards before delivery to customers.

This role acts as the final quality gate between the workshop and the customer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vehicle pickup and delivery, conducting pre- and post-service inspections, identifying quality concerns, coordinating rework where needed, and ensuring every vehicle is returned in safe, clean, and fully satisfactory condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up vehicles from customers safely and professionally
• Conduct initial vehicle inspection at the time of pickup and record visible concerns
• Perform final inspection of vehicles after repair or maintenance
• Verify that all work has been completed as per the job card and service standards
• Inspect critical safety systems including brakes, steering, suspension, and tires
• Check dashboard indicators and ensure no warning lights remain active before delivery
• Conduct or support road tests to confirm proper vehicle performance
• Identify incomplete or substandard work and return vehicles for rework when required
• Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, and workshop management on quality issues
• Monitor repeat repairs and highlight recurring quality concerns or trends
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, properly presented, and ready for customer handover
• Deliver vehicles back to customers with final quality clearance
• Maintain accurate inspection records and report observations clearly

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Automotive Engineering or a related field
• Relevant experience in automotive service, vehicle inspection, or quality control
• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
• Good knowledge of workshop processes and repair quality standards
• Ability to inspect vehicles thoroughly and identify defects or incomplete repairs
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good communication and coordination skills. English is must
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple inspections in a day
• Customer-friendly attitude and professional conduct

Must haves

• Valid driving license
• Ability to safely drive and road test vehicles
• Good understanding of driving safety and vehicle behavior
• Diploma or certification in Automotive Engineering or a related field

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,500.00 per month
