Quality Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

Design and develop highly visual, interactive, and layered Business Intelligence solutions using Business Objects (Lumira, Explorer, IDT, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Analysis for OLAP, Dashboards).
Design, develop, document, and ensure quality assurance of enterprise-wide visualizations; educate users on visualization types.
Gather business requirements from cross-functional teams; create reports and dashboards using data warehouses, marts, and underlying data stores.
Provide support, training, and expertise to business users for effective BI utilization.
Design test plans, define test cases, and create detailed test scripts; collaborate on test automation.
Assist in development of HANA models.
Develop and implement standards and guidelines.
Perform analysis, design, technical specification writing, configuration, and programming.
Define security requirements for visualizations with system administrators.
Collaborate with Data Warehouse and Architecture teams to define data requirements and best practices.
Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Enterprise Architecture Responsibilities

Support sales, assessment, and delivery across technology domains.
Contribute to Business, Information, Data, Application, Infrastructure Architecture, and Technology Management.

Quality Assurance & Testing Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on business requirements.
Ensure traceability between test cases and requirements.
Execute Integration, Regression, and Performance testing.
Record defects, report results, and collaborate for resolution.
Conduct quality control reviews and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and processes.
Execute testing aligned with project timelines and procedures.
Implement effective testing strategies to meet quality benchmarks.
Improve quality systems through issue resolution and enhancements.
Participate in Agile SDLC activities.
Maintain documentation: Test Procedures, Traceability Metrics, SRDs, Problem Reports, User Guides.
Design and execute UAT in collaboration with clients.
Conduct end-user training.
Provide post-implementation support.
