Job Brief:

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer with preferably degree in Architecture to ensure that all architectural and finishing works in residential buildings are completed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards, and to manage the inspection, snagging, and handover process to the client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct final inspections for all architectural and finishing works including (plastering, painting, tiling, ceilings, joinery, doors, windows, etc.).
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes/standards.
• Prepare and manage snag lists / punch lists and follow up on their closure.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to rectify defects before handover.
• Review and verify material approvals, method statements, and inspection requests ( IRs).
• Ensure completion of all required documentation for handover, including:

1- Inspection reports.

2- As-built drawings.

3- Material submittals and approvals.

• Verify that all architectural and finishing works are 100% completed asper:

1- Approved IFC drawings.

2- Material submittals.

3- Project specifications.

• Liaise with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with quality procedures and project specifications.
• Conduct internal audits and quality checks prior to consultant/client inspections.
• Ensure proper protection and finishing quality standards are maintained until final handover.
• Support in obtaining project completion certificates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in QA/QC (e.g., ISO 9001) is preferred.

Experience:

• 3–7 years of experience in QA/QC for construction projects.
• Proven experience in residential building projects.
• Strong experience in architectural and finishing works handover .

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of finishing standards and inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with international standards and local regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Experience with QA/QC documentation and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management systems.
