Quality Control Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Engineer for an interior and fit-out company in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all fit-out, finishing, and construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, client requirements, consultant standards, and applicable UAE regulations. The QC Engineer will conduct inspections, monitor workmanship quality, manage material approvals, and ensure timely resolution of non-conformance issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect all interior fit-out works including gypsum, ceiling, partition, flooring, joinery, marble, painting, MEP coordination, and finishing activities to ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct routine site inspections and prepare quality inspection reports.
• Ensure work execution complies with approved shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients on quality-related matters.
• Raise and close Inspection Requests (IRs) and coordinate consultant inspections.
• Identify non-conformance issues and prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive measures.
• Verify incoming materials and ensure approved materials are used as per project requirements.
• Maintain quality control documentation, records, checklists, snag lists, and inspection logs.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with company quality procedures.
• Monitor mock-ups, sample approvals, and finishing quality before execution.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, consultant requirements, health & safety, and applicable UAE construction standards.
• Participate in project handover inspections and snagging/de-snagging activities.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for material quality verification.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in interior fit-out, joinery, or construction industry in UAE/GCC.
• Strong experience in luxury interiors, commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, or villa projects.
• Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, finishing standards, and fit-out materials.
• Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and quality standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
