Quality Control Engineer (Documentation)

Job Purpose:

To ensure that all products meet quality standards before reaching the customer. This includes implementing and maintaining quality systems in line with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, managing audits, analyzing defects, and ensuring corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Systems & Audits:
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Prepare for and participate in internal, customer, and third-party audits.
• Conduct internal audits and process audits as per schedule.
• Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
• Process & Product Quality:
• Implement and monitor in-process quality control (IPQC).
• Coordinate with production for process validation and control plans.
• Conduct PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC activities as per IATF requirements.
• Review and update control plans and work instructions.
• Customer Quality:
• Handle customer complaints using 8D methodology.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Ensure customer-specific requirements (CSR) are met.
• Supplier Quality:
• Monitor and evaluate supplier quality performance.
• Assist in supplier audits and development initiatives.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare Quality Assurance Reports, First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR), and Process Capability Reports.
• Maintain calibration records of instruments and equipment.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
• Hands-on experience in quality tools and techniques (7 QC tools, 5 Why, Fishbone diagram, etc.).
• Familiarity with measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, height gauge, etc.).
• Good communication skills for customer and team interaction.
• Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and quality documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
