Quality Control Engineer (EIFS - Exterior Insulation and Finish System) experience

Quality Controller Engineer (EIFS - Exterior Insulation and Finish System) is responsible for ensuring that the installation of exterior cladding systems meets manufacturer specifications, building codes, and project quality standards. This role focuses on preventing water infiltration, ensuring structural integrity, and verifying material performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Inspection and Auditing: Conduct regular inspections of EIFS application, including substrate preparation, adhesive application, foam board installation, mesh embedment, base coat, and finish coat application.
• Compliance Verification: Ensure work complies with ASTM standards, local building codes, and manufacturer technical specifications.
• Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Material Quality Control: Inspect incoming materials (foam, base coat, mesh, finish) for damage and compliance with submittals.
• Subcontractor Coordination: Train and guide site personnel/subcontractors on best practices for EIFS installation to prevent quality issues.
• Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of inspections, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and photos of critical details.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
