Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for inspecting finished RF/microwave products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. This ideal candidate has experience in high precision manufacturing environments and understands tight tolerances, electronic assemblies, and documentation control processes.

Duties

• Inspect components to customer/internal requirements
• Inspect incoming materials to internal drawings using AQL sample sizes
• Review production paperwork/routers for completeness
• Reads and interprets customer and internal product drawings and understands the application of geometric tolerances.
• Performs quality in process and final inspections to ensure products and processes meet company and industry standards.
• Verifies product specifications and identifies any non-conformances.
• Interfaces with engineering and operations to ensure customer requirements are met
• Provide feedback to management on failure trends or re-occurring issues
• Understand accept/reject criteria for workmanship and disposition accordingly
• Conducts process audits and supports internal audits to determine proper corrective and preventative actions.
• Coordinates with manager on product quality issues and assists in the resolution of correction actions.
• Maintain Inspection logs
• Generate Inspection reports and MRB paperwork when necessary
• Work within ISO 9001:2015 environment

Education/Experience

• AS degree or equivalent work experience
• Certification to J-STD-001 soldering and inspection a plus
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints
• Ability to use various measurement tools such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, and pin gauges
• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
• Basic math skills
• Written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work in a team environment.
