Quality Control Inspector

FOR EPC OIL & GAS COMPANY IN SYRIA

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection and quality control activities for all welding, fabrication, and construction works in accordance with project specifications and codes.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and other international standards throughout all project phases.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of materials, welds, and assemblies.
• Review and verify welding procedures, WPS, PQRs, and welder qualifications.
• Coordinate with QA/QC Engineers, Construction Managers, and client representatives on all quality-related matters.
• Monitor NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) activities and review test reports to ensure compliance.
• Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records, daily reports, and documentation required for project handover.
• Support quality audits and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in QA/QC inspection, with at least 5 years in the GCC.
• Mandatory CSWIP 3.2 certification (Senior Welding Inspector).
• Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, and international inspection standards.
• Familiarity with EPC project workflows, fabrication yards, and on-site construction activities.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.
• Must be willing to relocate to Syria.
