Role Purpose:
Arrange consultants for all inspections
Key Activities:

Inspection of Materials:
Verify that all construction materials meet project specifications and standards before they are used on-site.

Monitoring Workmanship
: Ensure that construction work is executed according to approved plans, specifications, and industry standards, identifying any deviations or defects.

Review of Documentation:
Check and maintain records, including Material Approval Requests (MARs), test results, inspection reports, and compliance certificates.

Conducting Tests:
Perform or supervise on-site testing of materials and completed work, such as concrete strength tests, soil compaction tests, and weld inspections.

Non-Conformance Reporting:
Identify, document, and report any non-conformances or defects in materials, workmanship, or processes, and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Inspection and Testing Plans (ITPs)
: Develop and implement Inspection and Testing Plans, ensuring all key activities are inspected and documented.

Final Inspections:
Conduct final inspections of completed work, ensuring that everything complies with project requirements before it is handed over.

Liaison with Engineers and Consultants:
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and consultants to resolve quality issues and improve construction practices.

Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all quality control processes also comply with safety regulations and standards on-site.

Continuous Improvement:
Suggest and implement improvements to quality control processes based on lessons learned from ongoing and past projects.
Job Specifications:

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or a related field.

Minimum of 13 years of experience in Quality Control Engineering or a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and best practices.
Technical Skills:
•Knowledge of Construction Standards and Codes
•Material Testing: Proficiency in testing concrete, steel, soil, etc.
•Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret construction drawings andspecifications.
•Quality Management Systems (QMS): Familiarity with ISO 9001 andquality systems.
•Inspection & Testing Plans (ITPs): Development and execution of ITPs.
•Documentation: Accurate record-keeping and reporting.
