Quality Control Inspector

Job Description:

Al-Amin Salt Works (Pvt.) Ltd., a leading manufacturer and exporter of premium quality salt products, is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring our products consistently meet internal quality standards and international export requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect raw materials, production batches, and final packed goods for quality compliance

2. Perform laboratory testing for purity, moisture, and mineral content

3. Maintain detailed QC reports and testing records

4. Ensure all products meet international food-grade and industrial-grade salt specifications

5. Identify quality issues and coordinate with production teams for corrective actions

6. Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in the production and packaging areas

7. Calibrate and maintain lab equipment

8. Assist in internal and external audits (e.g., ISO, HACCP, etc.)

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related discipline

2. 1–3 years of relevant QC experience (preferably in salt, food, or mineral industry)

3. Good knowledge of laboratory instruments and QC protocols

4. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

5. Familiarity with ISO standards, HACCP, and export quality requirements is a plus
