Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
• Utilize advanced measurement tools including coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications.
• Perform quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings accurately for review and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions aligned with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP protocols.
• Participate in calibration activities for measurement instruments to maintain precision and reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing quality management systems and suggesting enhancements to optimize efficiency and product integrity.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and quality assurance practices within manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with Calypso software for data collection and analysis is a plus.
• Experience conducting quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or similar standards.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FDA regulations and GMP requirements.
• Skilled in operating precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
• Excellent analysis skills to interpret measurement data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
