Job Overview

Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems
- Utilize calibration tools and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Perform quality audits in accordance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and FDA regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings accurately in quality management systems
- Support manufacturing teams by identifying root causes of quality issues and recommending corrective actions aligned with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP protocols
- Participate in internal and external quality audits, preparing reports and ensuring continuous compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards
- Assist in maintaining proper documentation for traceability, non-conformance reports, and inspection records to support quality assurance processes
Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes within manufacturing environments, including QA/QC methodologies
- Proficiency with calibration tools such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems; experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) is highly desirable
- Familiarity with industry standards including ISO 13485 (medical devices), ISO 9001 (quality management systems), FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP practices
- Excellent analysis skills for interpreting measurement data and identifying deviations from specifications
- Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions to improve product quality
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments accurately and efficiently
- Strong documentation skills for data collection, inspection reports, and audit records
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with manufacturing teams and conveying technical information clearly
