Job Overview
PFS Group of Companies is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to lead and oversee all quality control functions across raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
The role demands strong hands-on laboratory expertise, effective collaboration with R&D and Production teams, and strict compliance with ISO standards and safety regulations to ensure consistent product quality and batch reliability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Control & Testing
- Supervise and perform routine quality control testing of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products.
- Conduct laboratory testing in accordance with established test methods and technical specifications.
- Ensure batch-to-batch consistency through structured in-process monitoring and final quality evaluations.
- Review and validate raw material analysis reports prior to production approval.
- Approve or reject raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods based on test outcomes and quality standards.
2. Laboratory Setup & Management
- Establish, organize, and manage the QC laboratory, including workflow systems, testing procedures, and equipment planning.
- Ensure regular calibration, preventive maintenance, and proper functioning of laboratory instruments.
- Maintain strict laboratory safety practices in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare, review, and maintain quality documentation including test reports, Certificates of Analysis (COA), SOPs, batch records, and quality logs.
- Monitor chemical and physical parameters as per product specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards, internal quality management systems, and safety regulations.
- Support internal and external audits related to quality systems and laboratory operations.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate closely with the R&D team on product trials, sample testing, and new product development.
- Provide quality assurance support to the Production team during trials, scale-up activities, and routine manufacturing.
- Investigate quality deviations and customer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
5. Inventory & Resource Management
- Manage QC laboratory inventory including chemicals, reagents, consumables, and reference standards.
- Ensure timely availability of testing materials and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate with procurement for laboratory-related purchasing requirements and approvals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Quality Control within a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Paints & Coatings Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong practical experience in laboratory testing and analytical techniques.
- Solid understanding of chemical testing methodologies, QC parameters, and quality assurance practices.
- Experience in raw material evaluation, in-process monitoring, and final product validation.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and laboratory safety regulations.
- Proven ability to independently establish and manage a QC laboratory.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
