This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Quality Control professional from the water or beverage industry who thrives in a dynamic, quality-centric manufacturing environment.

Role Brief:

As the Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of quality across the production value chain, from raw materials to finished goods. Your key mandate will be to uphold the company’s commitment to safety, hygiene, and product excellence, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Candidates who bring hands-on production oversight experience may also be considered for a broader role encompassing both production and quality functions. In such cases, the role may be titled "Production & Quality Manager", depending on the candidate's capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with UAE food and beverage regulations and international quality standards.
• Lead quality assurance processes across raw material intake, in-process checks, and final product validation.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of ingredients and formulations used in both still and sparkling water.
• Supervise chemical and microbiological testing of raw and treated water to ensure consistency and lab accuracy.
• Conduct routine inspections, identify non-conformities, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Oversee quality control for varied packaging formats including glass bottles, aluminum cans, and plastic containers.
• Maintain traceability by managing retention samples of materials and finished goods.
• Ensure effective documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS), including SOPs and audit trails.
• Foster a culture of hygiene, product safety, and quality awareness across all departments.
• Support regulatory and certification audits, ensuring all compliance standards are met.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics, aligning with company-wide performance indicators.
• Manage the chemical laboratory, ensuring proper equipment calibration, maintenance, and safety.

Desirable (Good-to-have):

Candidates with experience in overseeing daily production operations and driving end-to-end plant efficiency will be considered for a broader role titled Production & Quality Manager.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in quality control within the water, beverage, or FMCG industry
• Expertise in sparkling and still water production, including formulation knowledge and ingredient quality management
• Demonstrated experience with packaging formats such as glass bottles, aluminum cans, and plastic containers
• Good understanding of UAE food and beverage regulatory standards, including product labeling, shelf-life management, food safety protocols, and hygiene regulations
• Working knowledge of QMS implementation, traceability systems, and lab documentation processes
• Proven ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, procurement, and manufacturing
• Prior experience in leading or supporting production operations in a beverage manufacturing unit is a strong advantage
• Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related fields; certifications in Food Safety, HACCP, or Quality Systems (e.g., ISO 22000) are a plus

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
