Role Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Quality Control Manager to oversee third-party manufacturing and processing operations at vendor sites, primarily focused on recycled polymer resins. The role is critical to ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and alignment with sustainability goals. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in polymer quality assurance, vendor coordination, and process audits.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and supervise quality control activities at third-party manufacturing units, especially for recycled resins.

Conduct inspections at various stages—incoming, in-process, and final—as per established SOPs.

Ensure vendor operations adhere to product specifications, environmental norms, and statutory regulations (e.g., CPCB, SPCB).

Review batch records, production logs, and lab test reports for accuracy and completeness.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.

Maintain comprehensive documentation including inspection reports, quality checklists, and audit findings.

Train vendor staff on quality protocols, sustainability standards, and industry best practices.

Communicate quality issues, risks, and resolutions promptly to relevant stakeholders.

Conduct periodic audits and surprise inspections to ensure consistency and compliance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and vendor performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education
: Diploma from CIPET / B.Tech in Polymer Science, Plastic Technology, or related field.
Experience
: 4–6 years in Quality Control/Assurance in the polymer industry, preferably with exposure to third-party manufacturing setups.
Technical Skills:

Familiarity with recycling technologies and processes.

Proficient in inspection techniques, sampling plans, and polymer testing standards.

Working knowledge of ISO 9001, BIS standards, ASTM methods, GMP, HACCP, Six Sigma, and other QMS frameworks.

Experience with SQC, RCA, and CAPA methodologies.
