Our client Agay Barho is looking for a Quality Control Mechanical Engineer in Dammam

Company is looking for a dedicated QC Mechanical Engineer / QC Inspector to join its team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will ensure the quality and compliance of mechanical works, including piping, welding, and other installations, by inspecting and verifying all activities against project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least five years of experience in mechanical quality control, preferably in Oil & Gas or EPC projects. Strong knowledge of quality control processes such as ITP, MIR, WIR, and NCR, along with skills in mechanical drawing interpretation and material/welding inspection, is required. This on-site role involves close collaboration with project teams and is critical to maintaining high standards and ensuring safe, successful project completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections of mechanical works, including piping, welding, and equipment, to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, method statements, specifications, and contractual documents to guide inspection activities effectively.
• Conduct welding inspections, material testing, and verification of equipment to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Prepare, maintain, and track QA/QC documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), Welding Inspection Reports (WIR), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
• Identify quality issues, raise observations, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to enforce quality procedures and close comments or non-conformances.
• Ensure compliance with project quality procedures, safety regulations, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes and suggesting enhancements for future projects.
