WSP Field Services is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to serve in the Quality Control Production Analyst role, supporting our contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The Quality Control Production Analyst is primarily responsible for monitoring and analysis of quality control inspector performance and to assign assessments to QC inspectors with the goal of meeting FEMA’s task order QC production requirements. The Quality Control Analyst will work in harmony with a team of production analysts and will report directly to Production Management.

The Quality Control Production Analyst assists in the evaluation of the inspectors’ field performance. When not active in disaster deployment work, the Quality Control Production Analyst fulfills various planning, administrative, training and staff functions. Must be flexible to a dynamic schedule that often includes long hours, weekends, potential remote work and 24-hour operations. This position is full-time involving periodic overtime with little to no notice.

Your Impact

These tasks and functions are as stated, but not limited to, in the following:

Readiness

  • Assist in the development of education materials.

  • Provide on-going dialogue with inspectors regarding availability.

  • Assist with mapping scenarios for disaster responses.

  • Assist in the performance evaluation and grading of inspectors for future deployment.

  • Prepare reports for monitoring and analysis of both routine and quality control inspector production.

  • Participate in corrective actions and the continual improvement of initial and QC production analysis and assessment assignment processes.

  • Assist in the testing of processes and technologies through all stages of development, sharing observations and feedback when appropriate.

  • Maintain all appropriate SOP and ISO documentation, including production of appropriate corrective action plans and materials.

  • Other duties as assigned

Deployment

  • Work closely with Production and Operations management to ensure both short term and long term production goals are achieved.

  • Address daily inquiries from inspectors on a variety of concerns or issues, reporting and coordinating with Production management when appropriate.

  • Analyze, report findings to Production and Field Operations management and take appropriate action on all inspector performance issues including, but not limited to, quality and timeliness.

  • Coordinate and track QC production to meet requirements set forth in the FEMA contract.

  • Assign initial, QC and other assessments as needed, using approved processes.

  • Adjust the work areas for inspectors in disasters so that assessments are completed in a timely and cost effective manner.

  • Report to and coordinate with Production and Field Operations management on deployment needs for tasked disasters.

  • Communicate policy changes, administrative directives and bulletins to inspectors, as required.

  • Coordinate with Production and Field Operations management, and others as directed, to track inspector performance and to initiate remedial action needed to correct any performance deficiencies.

  • Assist with the documentation in internal databases and coordination of all stages of deployment of inspectors, supervisors, and field coordinators.

  • Assist in the selection of inspectors to confirm availability and/or deploy as required, using approved tools and criteria.

  • Coordinate with Production, Field Operations and Payroll management to track and monitor inspector timesheets and expense reports while inspectors are deployed to the field.

  • Map and plot inspectors, assessments and defined work areas using approved tools.

  • Monitor inspector assessment aging in the field to maximize inspectors’ production and minimize assessment turn-around times.

  • Position QC inspector workforce from beginning of disaster until completion.

  • Track and expedite special assignment requests.

  • Communicate, retrieve and troubleshoot assessments using FEMA software.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • HS diploma is required, BA degree strongly preferred.

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience; experience working with FEMA grant programs strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills required.

  • Experience with GIS applications is desired.

  • Demonstrated analytical, collaboration and multi-tasking skills.

  • Self-motivated and a team player.

  • Effective communicator.
