The QCR Inspector ensures all requirements have been met with supplied materials on each sales order, from the customer to the licensor. The QCR Inspector uses measuring tools, gages, licensor specifications and machining expertise to ensure that all materials issued to the shop can be successfully machined.

Responsibilities

• Possesses working knowledge of the technical, product and documentation requirements of premium and API threaded connections.
• Understands processing operations pertaining to the manufacture and finishing of tubular accessories and threaded connections including swaging, stress relief, phosphate, buck-on, marking, etc.
• Ability to determine and use appropriate measuring device to meet Fulcrum production requirements prior to manufacturing.
• Ensures fulfillment of receiving inspection and documentation requirements with respect to every order.

Requirements

• Experience with dimensional inspection.
• Experience with non-destructive examination (NDE) methods, including magnetic particle (MT) inspection and hardness testing, to verify material integrity and compliance with specifications.
• Ability to record both hard copy results and on an electronic spreadsheet.
• Ability to measure, interpret, and properly record basic and element specific gages, equipment, and various thread elements.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to pass company pre-employment drug test
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English
