Quality Control Specialist

Job Overview
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring all repaired vehicles meet the company's high quality standards before being returned to the customer. This role involves inspecting all repairs through each phase of the repair process, verifying repairs match estimates and manufacturer guidelines, and ensuring vehicles are clean, safe, and fully functional. The Quality Control Specialist will work closely with technicians, painters, estimators, and management to maintain high repair standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on every vehicle through every stage of the repair process.
• Verify all repairs were completed according to the estimate, repair plan, and manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect body work, paint finish, panel alignment, trim installation, and overall appearance.
• Check functionality of lights, sensors, electronics, and safety systems affected by repairs.
• Ensure proper reassembly of parts, moldings, and accessories.
• Confirm vehicles are clean, detailed, and ready for customer pickup
• Identify defects or missed items and coordinate corrections with technicians.
• Maintain quality inspection documentation and report recurring issues to management.
• Help uphold shop quality standards, safety procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in collision repair, body work and paint refinish.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Knowledge of collision repair processes and vehicle systems.
• Ability to read repair estimates and repair plans.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid drivers license.
