About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Supervisor to oversee quality operations and lead the QC team. The successful candidate will ensure that products meet the highest standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, while driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, guide, and motivate the QC team, ensuring proper training and performance to required standards.
- Review and evaluate feedback from the Quality Manager, communicating with Inspectors and QC staff.
- Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and ensure work is completed according to plan.
- Implement strategies and processes that promote total quality management across the company.
- Coordinate and review test results for products, materials, and packaging, ensuring proper release or hold.
- Administer the “On Hold” program, including status, release, and disposal of rejected products.
- Ensure production and assembly lines comply with company standards, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Monitor adherence to the Quality Control Policy.
- Verify calibration of testing equipment, maintain calibration records, and ensure equipment is fit for use.
- Conduct product testing at different stages, checking dimensions, performance, and mechanical characteristics.
- Support customer complaint investigations with product sampling and root cause analysis.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, prepare reports, and update quality databases.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operations, reduce waste, and optimize efficiency.
- Ensure timely and accurate release of final products.
- Provide regular reports on quality performance, progress, and areas requiring attention.
- Take reasonable care of personal and team safety, reporting hazards promptly.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE rules for a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant QC experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in plastic pipe manufacturing preferred.
- QC certification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of QC standards, GMP, and ISO 9001/14001/45001.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
