This Position reports to:

Quality Control Manager

Key Responsibilities

Supports the local Quality team in the implementation of the quality system, in inspecting the conformity of materials and parts received from suppliers to quality standards, and in developing processes to improve supplier performance.

Also assists in providing training to suppliers on measurement tools and methods, and in maintaining quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and process documentation.

• Verifies that purchased materials comply with technical drawings, specifications, and order criteria. Ensures their conformity with control plans and customer requirements. Decides on acceptance or rejection of parts based on inspection criteria; ensures segregation and marking of rejected products. Identifies supplier-related nonconformities, reports them, and provides feedback to the supplier
• Performs measurement and testing of materials received from suppliers using tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, surface roughness testers, hardness testers, conductivity meters, and three-dimensional measuring devices to conduct dimensional and physical inspections
• Supports activities related to quality management within the local organizational unit and support teams in implementing quality management elements and promotes opportunities for improvement
• Collects and reports quality metrics and KPIs accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate analysis and management of incoming quality control processes and participates in audits and presents documents, records, and practices related to incoming quality processes to internal and external auditors

Qualifications

• Experience in an electromechanical profession, working as quality technician with experience in the medium voltage sector,
• Sound knowledge of electrotechnology, IT affinity, A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• A technical school in electrical or mechanical field.
• SAP/ERP tool knowledge
