JOB SUMMARY
Assists in the compounding pharmacy to ensure quality products and care to customers by performing various duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs data entry tasks for the department including input of reports and other tasks using various computer programs.
- Assists with reviewing all data logs and batch records. Performs batch release of product.
- Performs environmental monitoring of the clean room suites.
- Manages the contract laboratory submissions and results.
- Assists with compiling statistical data and writing reports summarizing quality control findings.
- Assists with regulatory training (i.e. respiratory, hazards communication, personal protective equipment, etc.)
- Assists with assuring all personnel are meeting federal and state regulations regarding compounding, personal protective equipment, aseptic technique, etc.
- Randomly selects and inspects filled but unlabeled products for functional defects, particulates, and cosmetic defects under controlled inspection conditions.
- Units must be inspected prior to shipment to the customer.
- Works independently following documented procedures in a current Good Manufacturing
- Practices (cGMP) environment optimized to limit distractions to ensure appropriate attention to inspection details.
- Performs manual and automated visual inspection processes
- All other tasks as assigned by the Quality Control Manager.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- One-year related experience
- Experience in a cGMP environment preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
