Job Title: Quality Document Controller

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced contractor to remotely support our construction quality management team, focusing on documentation control and innovative AI-driven solutions for quality auditing processes.

The ideal candidate will combine traditional construction quality documentation expertise with forward-thinking approaches to AI implementation, helping streamline our quality control processes while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and accuracy.

• Document Control & Management

• Maintain and organize construction quality documentation systems

• Review and process quality-related submissions, including RFIs, NCRs, and inspection reports

• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements

• Develop and implement documentation workflows and processes

• Identify opportunities for AI implementation in quality auditing processes

• Collaborate with Tech teams to develop and test AI-based tools for document analysis

• Create automated systems for quality compliance checking

• Implement machine learning solutions for pattern recognition in quality data

• Assist in remote quality audits and inspections

• Generate comprehensive quality reports and analytics

• Support field teams with documentation requirements

• Monitor and track quality metrics and KPIs

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

• Experience with AI/ML technologies and implementations

• 5+ years experience in construction documentation control

• Proven experience with document management systems

• Understanding of construction quality standards and processes

• Strong technical writing and communication skills

• Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R, etc.)

• Familiarity with construction industry AI applications

• Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001)

• Background in data analytics and reporting

• Proficiency in document control software

• Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools

• Knowledge of construction management platforms

• Understanding of data security protocols

Expected Deliverables:

• Establish and maintain a centralized quality documentation management system achieving

• Develop automated document routing and approval workflows that reduce document retrieval time and ensure 100% regulatory compliance tracking

• Implement AI-powered document classification system to achieve 50% automation of manual document processing tasks and reduce routine auditing time

• Create standardized documentation control procedures and training materials that result in compliant documentation at first review across all construction projects

• Maintain quality documentation system uptime while facilitating 100% completion rate of remote quality audits through digital document management processes

Required qualifications/certificates:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

• Experience with AI/ML technologies and implementations

• 5+ years experience in construction documentation control

• Proven experience with document management systems

• Understanding of construction quality standards and processes

• Strong technical writing and communication skills
