Quality Engineer

Evoove is partnered with an aerospace and defense manufacturer seeking experienced Quality Engineers in Columbus, MS.
This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive pay up to $115,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality procedures, sampling plans, and improvement initiatives.
• Monitor, test, and inspect products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis, lead internal audits, and support readiness for AS9100/Nadcap audits.
• Review engineering drawings, support FAIs, and participate in Change/MRB Boards.
• Manage supplier quality performance and conduct supplier audits.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and assist in implementing the Quality Management System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in aerospace/defense quality engineering.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and Nadcap standards.
• Inspection experience to IPC-620/WHMA-A-620C and J-STD-001 standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD/CATIA and GD&T experience preferred.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 U.S.C. § 6010.

Position Details

• Schedule: Full-time, typically Monday–Thursday. Occasional evenings/weekends may be required.
• Travel: Minimal, with rare out-of-state or international assignments.
• Work Environment: Safety-sensitive manufacturing setting; moderate physical activity required.
• Salary: Up to $115,000 annually, based on experience.
