Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate fabrication equipment (cutting, welding, bending, grinding, etc.) to produce components as per drawings.

• Perform surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, blasting, and masking before coating.

• Apply powder coating using spray guns and ensure uniform coverage, proper curing, and finish.

• Monitor and maintain coating equipment, ovens, and tools for optimal performance.

• Inspect finished products for quality, thickness, adhesion, and color accuracy.

• Follow safety guidelines, workplace cleanliness, and preventive maintenance schedules.

• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily/weekly production targets.

• Maintain records of work orders, materials used, and coating batches.

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Fabrication / Industrial Coating or equivalent.

• 2–3 years of experience in powder coating and fabrication.

• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques (welding, cutting, drilling, assembly).

• Familiarity with different powder coating processes, materials, and curing techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

• Knowledge of workplace safety standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
