Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and project-specific requirements.
• Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure compliance.
• Conduct inspections and tests of materials, equipment, and workmanship during all phases of construction and mining activities.
• Monitor and verify construction activities to ensure they meet quality requirements and approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including ITPs, Method Statements, Quality Checklists, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Maintain up-to-date records of inspections, test results, and quality audits.
• Assist in preparing quality-related reports for management and clients.
• Track and close non-conformances, corrective, and preventive actions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on all quality-related matters.
• Provide technical guidance to construction and operations teams regarding quality requirements.
• Attend site meetings and contribute to the resolution of quality issues.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Mining, or related discipline).
• Experience in quality assurance/control within mining, heavy civil, or construction projects.
• Familiarity with materials testing, welding inspection, and equipment calibration processes.
