*Job description*-

Perform in-process and final inspection of fabricated components (cutting, bending, welding, machining, assembly).

Verify dimensions using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, weld gauges, etc.

Inspect welding quality as per WPS, PQR, and relevant welding standards.

Conduct raw material inspection (plates, sheets, structural steel) as per material test certificates (MTC).

Prepare Inspection Reports (IR), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and Corrective Action Requests (CAR).

Maintain records of material traceability, heat numbers, and quality documentation.

Ensure proper documentation as per ISO 9001 quality management system.

Monitor fabrication processes such as cutting, rolling, bending, welding, and assembly.

Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).

Check welding parameters and compliance with WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).

Identify welding defects (porosity, undercut, cracks) and ensure corrective actions.
