Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to play a critical role in delivering superior products and processes. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality systems that meet and exceed industry standards. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams-including engineering, production, and supply chain-to ensure compliance, resolve issues, and drive initiatives that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.


What You'll Do

  • Lead Quality Assurance Activities : Oversee quality planning, audits, and compliance initiatives aligned with IATF 16949 standards.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement : Utilize advanced quality tools to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and optimize processes.
  • Collaborate Across Teams : Partner with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams to ensure seamless integration of quality requirements.
  • Support New Product Launches : Apply APQP and PPAP methodologies to validate processes and ensure flawless execution.
  • Champion Data-Driven Decisions : Analyze metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to leadership for strategic improvements.


Key Skills & Qualifications

  • IATF 16949 Expertise : Proven experience managing quality systems in compliance with automotive standards.
  • Technical Proficiency : Strong knowledge of Gage R&R, PPAP, APQP, and GD&T for effective product and process control.
  • Experience : Minimum 3 years in a Quality Engineering role within the automotive industry.
  • Audit Capability : Lead Auditor Certification highly preferred, demonstrating your ability to conduct thorough compliance audits.
  • Communication & Leadership : Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Work Authorization : Must have current U.S. work authorization (citizen, green card holder, or valid work visa not requiring employer sponsorship). We will not sponsor employment visas (e.g. H‑1B, TN, EAD).
