Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or minimum four years of manufacturing experience in the automotive industry
- Excellent customer relations, communication, and team building skills
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Motor coordination, manual and finger dexterity
- Color Deficiency Test
Job Preferences:
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- 8D/Problem solving certification
- Injection molding and/or plastic automotive industry experience
- 4 years’ experience in quality assurance
Job Summary:
To assist with quality department submissions, problem tracking, and database management. Act as contact to both external and internal customers regarding quality issues.

To assist with quality department submissions, problem tracking, and database management. Act as contact to both external and internal customers regarding quality issues.
Essential Job Functions:
- Access customer websites for performance ratings and requirements.
- Prepare and maintain files in computer database or paper in the QA office.
- Monitor and report on quality and delivery issues.
- Respond to customers for new quality concerns.
- Initiate, track and send corrective actions for external nonconformances and assist in updating related documents for closing of external corrective actions.
- Update quality documentation related to concerns (Control Plan; IPCP, pFMEA as example)
- Prepare pictorial work instructions.
- Travel as necessary to Customers to support the quality system.
- Internal auditing
- Complete Customer Assessments based off of customer specifics (MMOG, CQI-23, etc.)
- Manage suspect product by updating AS400 to place product on hold / release after verification of corrective action.
- Evaluate part drawings according to GD&T
- Perform part inspection with CMM, 3D Scanners, and common measurement tools.
- Assist with continuous improvement activities throughout the facility.
- Support the production floor with any questions or concerns and follow up accordingly.
- Must possess knowledge in all quality aspects and gauging procedures.
- Must possess a working knowledge of IATF-16949/ISO14001 policies and procedures.
- Back up to PPAP-Material Certs Coordinator
- Assist the Quality Manager with their duties.
- All other duties as assigned.
