Quality Engineer

Compensation Range:
$100,000 - $120,000
Must be eligible to work in the United States, unable to provide sponsorship
Must be willing to be onsite 5 days a week!
MUST:
-
2-5 years absolute of experience in Quality engineering in a production facility that is heavily involved with FDA requirements (pharma manufacturing, or med device manufacturing, food and beverage, chemical, equipment manufacturing, automotive, metrology, etc)

Comes from production facility

Design/manufacturing
-
Very strong with Sampling plans

Experience with production inspection

Material science, biomedical, process engineering, biomedical

Strong Design and manufacturing
-
Bachelor’s degree or associates in engineering mechanical engineering or biomedical engineering or equivalent engineering degree

Corrective action and improvement plans within quality + Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)
PLUS:
-
Six Sigma Certification – Green, Brown or Black belt preferred.

ASQ CQE preferred
-
Understanding of the Microbiology side (Validation/clean room)
DAY TO DAY:
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the quality system of the company including supporting all FDA and registrar inspections/audits.
Here, you will:

Develop and implement
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
for building and maintaining a structured
fragrance sample library
.

Establish processes for
sample retention, cataloging, and routine testing
to ensure fragrance quality and consistency over time.

Review
specification sheets and technical documentation
to ensure all materials meet defined quality requirements.

Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to ensure
all materials and components meet manufacturing specifications
.

Support the organization’s long-term goal of achieving
ISO 9001 certification (targeted for 2027)
by helping establish compliant quality systems and documentation.
