A new opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer. As a Quality Engineer for Rolls-Royce, you’ll work directly with manufacturing operations entities to ensure inspections, process control analyses and audits are conducted on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet specifications.

What You Will Be Doing:
Here you will have the opportunity to work on the following:

Investigating customer escapes and performs eight-step problem solving analysis to prevent recurrence

Developing, maintaining and ensuring compliance with quality assurance programs, policies, processes and procedures

Reporting Rolls-Royce Corporate Quality performance metrics
-
Developing programs to ensure the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications and agency guidelines
Who We’re Looking For:

Basic Requirements:

An Associate’s degree with 3+ years of experience in engineering, quality or manufacturing

A Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience in engineering, quality or manufacturing OR;

A Master’s degree OR;
-
A JD/PhD
-
In Lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in engineering, quality or manufacturing

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship
Preferred:
-
Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
-
Programming and database project experience using C, C#, C++, Java, Perl, VBA, VBS and/or SQL
-
Experience of GD&T system
-
Experiencing reading blueprints
-
Experience employing inspection techniques
-
Experience with Lean Six Sigma tools
